Job Summary:
This position is responsible for servicing, repairing, testing and/or modifying various components on SERCO products. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to troubleshoot and excellent customer service skills. Must have own tools, specialty tools will be supplied.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Educate and train SERCO dealerships on servicing product line.
- Interprets technical documents, such as blueprints and drawings, and follows established procedures.
- Collects all material and equipment needed to begin the process.
- Ensures quality and consistency in production processes by assessing, modifying, and/or calibrating equipment.
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves issues with equipment, devices, or products; uses precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to make adjustments.
- Gathers and arranges materials.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Maintains quality standards of finished products to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Reports on issues, malfunctions or defective parts.
- Follows all safety requirements.
- Operates a forklift to transport parts and components to work area.
- Keeps work area safe, clean and organized.
- Ensures proper placement of tools and other equipment at the end of shift.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose customer issues and implement effective solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed.
- Interact professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education/Experience/Skills/Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Experience in Mobile hydraulic repair, heavy equipment repair, mobile electric knowledge 12V & 24V, Lite fabrication is preferred.
- Positive attitude and belief in our product.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Mechanical background.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Familiar with measuring tools, such as calipers, tape measure, etc.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in shop mathematics and layout techniques.
- Attention to detail.
- Understanding of quality control principles.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must have manual dexterity in order to service products or machines as directed.
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Must wear proper personal protective equipment.

SALARY: $45,760-$80,000 annually
