JOB TITLE: Travelling Service and Final Assembler
SUERVISOR: Production Manager

STATUS: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
LOCATION: Two Harbors, MN (travel required)
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for assembling various components on SERCO loaders and grapples, along with travelling to dealer locations for training on servicing and maintaining equipment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to troubleshoot and excellent customer service skills.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Educate and train SERCO dealerships on servicing product line.
- Interprets technical documents, such as blueprints and drawings, and follows established procedures.
- Collects all material and equipment needed to begin the process.
- Takes precision measurements to ensure fit of components.
- Aligns and assembles components according to approved specifications utilizing hand tools, fixtures and fastening equipment.
- Selects or modifies components according to measurements and specifications.
- Maintains quality standards of finished products to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Reports on issues, malfunctions or defective parts.
- Follows all safety requirements.
- Operates a forklift to transport parts and components to work area.
- Keeps work area safe, clean and organized.
- Ensures proper placement of tools and other equipment at the end of shift.
- Travel to various client locations as required.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose customer issues and implement effective solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed.
- Interact professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education/Experience/Skills/Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Positive attitude and belief in our product.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Mechanical background.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Familiar with measuring tools, such as calipers, tape measure, etc.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in shop mathematics and layout techniques.
- Attention to detail.
- Understanding of quality control principles.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
- Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Must wear proper personal protective equipment.
