Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000 depending on experience

Job Summary:
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for developing projects from concept to completion, ensuring that designs are completed on time, within cost targets, and meet design standards. The ideal Engineer will have experience in Solidworks modeling, structural weldment design, hydraulics, and project management.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Designs heavy welded and machined structures and hydraulics.
- Works with a design team to create 3D solid models, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs.
- Produces specifications for products and chooses raw materials and components to be used in production.
- Perform virtual testing of complex 3D assemblies, including interference checks, and structural simulation FEA.
- Assist in building models and prototypes of the product and testing the design.
- Work directly with the manufacturing team on continuous improvement and best practice.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Firm grasp of engineering concepts and experience designing mechanical systems and products.
- High level of design proficiency using solid modeling software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Experience with ERP systems.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field plus 4 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to access and inspect all areas of the manufacturing environment, including weld cells, machining stations, assembly area, and paint shop.
