Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – Heavy Equipment (SERCO Loaders)

Territory Coverage

This role supports the Southeastern U.S., including:
Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas.

Key Responsibilities

This is a high-impact, field-based role focused on developing strong dealer networks, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic sales professional with experience in heavy equipment or industrial markets who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and growing territory performance.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive sales of SERCO products by developing new business and expanding existing accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new dealer partnerships and end-user opportunities within the region.
  • Execute territory growth strategies to increase market share and revenue.

Account & Dealer Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and key customers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for dealer communication, ensuring responsiveness and clarity.
  • Support dealers with product knowledge, sales strategies, and customer engagement.

Business Development

  • Prospect and engage potential dealers and customers to establish long-term partnerships.
  • Analyze market trends and identify emerging opportunities in industries such as logging, rail, and storm response.
  • Provide feedback on customer needs to support new product development and market positioning.

Sales Support & Training

  • Deliver product training and presentations to dealers and end users.
  • Assist with product demonstrations and support field sales efforts.
  • Represent SERCO at trade shows, industry events, and conferences.

Sales Operations

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity using CRM tools (Salesforce).
  • Manage pipeline activity, forecasts, and reporting in alignment with company expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful deal execution.
 

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in heavy equipment or related industries.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to clearly explain technical products to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).

Preferred

  • Experience working with dealer networks.
  • Background in forestry, material handling, or A-frame/knuckle-boom loaders.
  • Strong understanding of regional market dynamics in the Southeastern U.S.

Additional Requirements

  • Must reside within the assigned territory (ideally- Northern Florida, Missouri, or Alabama).
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 2–3 weeks per month, including occasional weekends).
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple accounts and priorities.
