Welder

The Position

This posting is for a full-time Welder. The hours of this position are Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.

Job Overview

• Setting up and aligning components using measuring tools (calipers, rulers, etc.)
• Wire feed welding components in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
• Using manual or semi-automatic equipment.
• Testing and inspecting welded surfaces.
• Following blueprints and interpreting symbols, along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in production welding or certification of successful completion of a welding course is required.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings (an asset)
