8500SR Series Knuckleboom Loader
32 & 34SR Series Loaders
The Serco 8500SR knuckleboom loader is built for storm cleanup and tree services operations that need reach, speed, and uptime in one package. A redesigned flat boom stows level in the debris box instead of sitting high in it, so more of that space goes to payload instead of boom clearance. That means more material per haul and fewer trips back to the site. Internal jib hose routing keeps hoses shielded from debris, cutting down on snags and blown hoses that cause downtime. Available in two reach configurations, 32'8" and 34'2", the 8500SR is fully mechanical, field-repairable with basic tools and made in the U.S.A.
-
New flat boom design, both vertical and horizontal, now able to stow straighter.
-
Inner jib hose routing to avoid hoses becoming stuck in debris.
-
Longest reach in the market: 2 models offering 32’ 8’’ and 34’ 2’’ of total reach.

What's New in This Redesign
-
Flat boom design
- The boom stows flat in the debris box instead of sitting high in it. That frees up vertical space for payload instead of boom clearance, so operators haul more material per trip. Hoses run tucked along the top of the boom, out of the loading path and away from debris.
-
Protected jib hose
- The jib hose now runs internally instead of hanging exposed. Less contact with debris means fewer snags, fewer blown hoses and less time waiting on repairs.
-
Easier inner jib hose maintenance
- The inner jib hose sits behind the boom for easy access. Operators can swap it out without pulling internal components, with no grease and no teardown required.
-
Stub-nosed inner jib
- The inner jib now has a stub nose instead of the standard tip. It retracts tighter, giving the machine a more compact profile for transport and tighter working clearances.
-
Bigger main lift cylinder
- The main lift cylinder now has a wider retainer, longer stroke and higher relief pressure, up to 2,750 PSI, with the jib bore increased to 5.5 inches. That puts more hydraulic force where operators need it.
